Set Up CRM Analytics Apps for Net Zero Cloud
Create a CRM Analytics app for Net Zero Cloud to get dashboards that monitor sustainability efforts and track carbon emissions across different organizational levels by using the Net Zero Analytics and Employee Analytics app templates.

- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Net Zero, and then select Net Zero Configurations.
- Expand CRM Analytics Configurations and click Assign Permission Set.
- Assign yourself the admin permissions required to set up the analytics apps.
- Click Open Analytics Settings.
- Click Enable CRM Analytics.
- On the guided setup, click Assign Permission Set

Assign the Net Zero Analytics Admin permission set to users who need to create and
manage dashboards. Assign the Net Zero Analytics User permission set to users who only
need read access to dashboards.
In addition to assigning admin and user permissions, give Analytics Integration user access to all the fields that are used in the app. When you’re setting up objects and fields or creating categories, you can see only those fields that the Analytics Integration users have access to. For more information, see Field-Level Security.
- To install, uninstall, or update the Employee Analytics app, expand Employee Analytics. If you are installing the app, import external data to view relevant analytics in the Employee Insights dashboard.

To install, uninstall, or update the Net Zero Analytics app, expand
Configure Net Zero Analytics. To install the app:
- Select the forecast years, base year, and granularity level to generate emission forecasts in the Emissions Forecast and What-If Analysis dashboard.
- Select the security predicate to make data visible to a user based on their hierarchical role. To make all data visible to all app users, select None.

Select the predefined indicator definition for emission reduction to view relevant
analytics in the Program Analysis and What-If Analysis dashboards.
Reinstalling the app isn’t required if you update the indicator definition by using the CRM Analytics recipe.
- Import data from an external source to view relevant analytics in the What-If Analysis dashboard. To set up the What-If Analysis dashboard, ensure to configure the emissions target. For more details, see Set Emissions Targets.
- To create the Net Zero Analytics app, turn on Install.
- To run the recipe to update the dataset, click Run Recipe.
After completing the app installation, you can access all the dashboards that are part of the installed app. Some of these dashboards are auto-embedded within specific pages. To view the dashboards that aren't auto-embedded, use the Analytics Studio. The analytics app installation can take up to an hour to complete. You can track the installation status on the Requests tab of the Auto-Installed Apps page in Setup.
The Net Zero Analytics app's standard output doesn’t consider fiscal year settings by default. You can update the fiscal year configuration after creating the app. See Data Prep Date Configuration.
