            Create a Custom Fuel Type

            Create custom fuel type values to supplement the provided fuel types. You can add custom fuel types for stationary and vehicle assets.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
            User Permissions Needed
            To view setup pages: View Setup and Configuration
            To view, create, edit, or delete fuel types: Manage Fuel Types
            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Net Zero, and then select Fuel Type.
            2. Click New Fuel Type.
            3. Enter the fuel name to add to the fuel type dropdown list.
            4. Enter a description for the fuel type.
            5. Select whether the fuel type is active or inactive.
            6. Select where the fuel type is used.
            7. Save your changes.

            To use the new fuel type, associate it with a unit of measure.
