            Create Custom Units of Measure

            Create custom units of measure (UOM) values that are required for your business to supplement the provided units of measure.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
            User Permissions Needed
            To view setup pages: View Setup and Configuration
            To view, create, edit, or delete sustainability unit of measure: Manage Sustainability Unit of Measure
            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Net Zero, and then select Sustainability Unit of Measure.
            2. Click New Sustainability Unit of Measure.
            3. Enter the custom unit of measure and the developer name.
            4. Enter a description.
            5. Select the type of unit of measure, which determines whether the unit is for volume, weight, or product.
            6. Select where the unit of measure is applicable.

              Custom units of measure are supported for stationary assets, vehicle assets, and waste.

            7. Save your changes.

            To use the new unit of measure, associate it with a fuel type.
