Upload Emissions Factors Datasets into Net Zero Cloud
Net Zero Cloud supports emissions factors that are either free and provided out of the
box (OOTB) by Salesforce, or emissions factors available for purchase from providers on the Net
Zero Marketplace. For purchased emissions factors, the loading steps are the same after you pay
the invoice.

To upload emissions factors datasets:
Manage Load Reference Data
Before you upload the reference datasets, make sure that Manage Carbon Accounting is
enabled. See Enable
Net Zero Cloud Features.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Load Reference Data,
and then select Load Reference Data.
Click Get Emissions Factors.
In Net Zero Marketplace, browse for and select the emissions factor dataset that you
want to use. Enter keywords in the navigation search box to filter by country, region,
provider, and more.
The free datasets have the phrase “Included with Net Zero Cloud .”
If the dataset is included with Net Zero Cloud , click Get It
Now.
If the dataset is from another provider, click Add to Cart.
After you pay, the dataset is available in Net Zero Cloud.
Return to the Load Reference Data page and refresh the page.
Net Zero Cloud increments the number next to the emissions factor dataset that
you acquired.
Click Load Dataset, and then confirm the upload.
Net Zero Cloud limits the number of records that you can upload at one time.
