Report Your Carbon Footprint

Create an Account Hierarchy

You are here:

Create an Account Hierarchy

Create an account-account relationship to represent a hierarchy between the parent company and all accounts in the org, such as parent-subsidiary, investor-investee, or company-franchisee.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions

Permission Set Needed

To enter and modify data:

Net Zero Cloud Manager

OR

Net Zero Cloud Admin

From the App Launcher, find and select Account Account Relationships.
Click New.
Select the parent account.
Select the related child account.
Select the party role relationship.
Select the parent hierarchy type.
If applicable, enter information for the optional fields.
Save your changes.
For multilevel hierarchy, repeat these steps to add account-account relationships for your subsidiaries or business units.
