A scope 3 activity that is the source of greenhouse gas emissions is considered a scope
3 emissions source. When you create an energy use record, you can associate the scope 3
emissions source with the record to track carbon sources by activity.

To enter and modify data:
Net Zero Cloud Manager

Net Zero Cloud Admin
From Scope 3 Emissions Sources, click New.
Enter a scope 3 name.
Select the account name of the company, its subsidiary, or its business unit.
If you’re accounting for multiple companies in your organizational structure,
specifying the account name for an emissions source helps to consolidate emissions from a
particular operation.
For the type of activity that is causing the emissions, enter a scope 3 emissions
source type value, such as business travel.
Select an emissions factor based on the scope 3 emissions source type.
Select a business region.
Your selection determines the filters in the Climate Action Dashboard (CRM Analytics
dashboard).
Enter information for any optional fields.
Save your changes.

From the Related tab, if you create any record, the asset is automatically related to
that record.
