Export the greenhouse gas emissions calculations used in the annual emissions inventory
and carbon footprints to audit Net Zero Cloud calculations. Auditors can view the original values
used in the calculations and verify the calculations in the energy use records related to
Stationary Asset Carbon Footprints, Vehicle Asset Carbon Footprints, Scope 3 Carbon Footprint, and
Annual Emissions Inventory.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and
Developer Editions with the Net Zero Cloud Starter or Growth license
User Permissions Needed
To export formulas and original values used in carbon calculations:
The energy use records created or updated before you turn on the Store Calculation Metadata for
Calculation Export feature don’t have the calculation detail information to export. To include
the calculation detail, save or modify the record and then perform a recalculation on the annual
emissions inventory or carbon footprint record from which you want to export calculations. See
Recalculate Records.
From the App Launcher, find and select a carbon footprint or Annual Emissions
Inventory.
Open a record.
From the actions menu, select Export Calculations.
To search for energy use records within a date range, select the start and end dates of
that range.
To export formulas and original values used in calculations, select the objects.
Note Object selection depends on the energy use objects related to the carbon
footprint or annual emissions inventory.
When exporting energy use
calculations, the start date of the energy use records should be between the export date
range.
Click Export.
You receive a notification when the calculation export is complete.
Note For data security
and privacy, the generated CSV files are not available in the carbon footprint or Annual
Emissions Inventory records.
From the App Launcher, find and select Files.
You can also download the generated CSV file from your personal Files.
To view the generated calculations, click the generated CSV file.
The file name syntax is
{ENTITY_NAME]_{SEARCH_START_DATE}_{SEARCH_END_DAY}_{SEQUENCE_NUMBER}. For example:
VehicleAssetEnrgyUse_2024-03-15_2024-03-30_14.csv.
You can export up to 20,000 records
per entity. One CSV file can contain up to 20,000 rows. If the exported calculations
exceed 20,000 rows, the app creates multiple files. If more than one file is generated
for the entity, the app optionally adds {SEQUENCE_NUMBER}.
To download the file, from the actions menu for the file, click
Download.
Net Zero Cloud Object Fields for Export Calculations Use the Export Calculations feature to view the original values used in the calculations and to verify the calculations in the energy use records related to Stationary Asset Carbon Footprints, Vehicle Asset Carbon Footprints, Scope 3 Carbon Footprint, and Annual Emissions Inventory.
