To fill data gaps: Net Zero Cloud Manager

To see data gap filling in action, check out this video.

          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Data Gaps.
          2. To get the latest data gap percentages for the stationary asset environmental sources, click Recalculate Data Gaps.
The time required for recalculation depends on the number of energy use records.
          3. Select a stationary asset environmental source record of type Commercial Building and click Fill Data Gaps.
Currently, data gap filling isn’t supported for stationary asset environmental source records of type Data Center.
          4. To associate energy use records for the stationary asset, which aren’t associated with the carbon footprint record, select records to associate with the carbon footprint record, and click Connect to Carbon Footprint.
            1. In the Connect to Carbon Footprint dialog, select a carbon footprint and click Connect Records.
            2. Click Next.
          5. To update the energy use records with date issues, such as missing dates, overlapping reporting periods, or out-of-range dates, edit the Start Date and End Date for the records, and click Review and Save.
            1. Review your changes and save your changes.
            2. Click Next.
            3. To fill energy use data gaps, select the fuel type.
            4. To change the fill method, click Update Fill Method.
            5. To create the energy use records, save your changes.
            6. Click Finish.
          Note
Note You can’t fill data gaps if your carbon footprint record is locked. For more information, see Lock Records.
          Important
Important Refrigerant fuel type isn’t supported for data-gap filling.

Alternatively, you can fill data gaps from the carbon footprint record. Then, use the Fill Data Gaps option from the actions menu of the carbon footprint record.

You can identify the energy use records that are created by the data-gap-filling process when:

          • System Generated Energy Use Records Included is selected.
          • Data Gap Filling Method Name contains the fill method.
          • Final Energy Consumption contains the calculated value.
