Materiality Assessment Hub

Materiality Assessment Hub

A double materiality assessment is the first step in defining your company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR), and its environment, social, and governance (ESG) strategy. When you conduct a materiality assessment, you identify business risks and the opportunities for making an impact on the environment and society. The assessment helps your company set an ESG plan that aligns with your corporate strategy and the expectations of your company’s stakeholders. Materiality Assessment Hub helps you identify, evaluate, and prioritize the most significant and relevant ESG issues.

Materiality Assessment Hub assists your company to integrate sustainability into your core business strategies and meet regulatory and stakeholder expectations. Materiality Assessment Hub typically facilitates:

  • Data collection: Gather information from various sources, including internal data, stakeholder surveys, industry benchmarks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Issue identification: Identify a comprehensive list of potential ESG issues that impact your company’s operations, reputation, and long-term sustainability.
  • Prioritization: Evaluate the significance of each issue based on its impact on the company and its stakeholders. A heat map indicates the importance of each issue to stakeholders and the impact on the business.
  • Reporting and communication: Generate reports and visualizations that communicate the results of the materiality assessment to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Use Materiality Assessment Hub to support these assessment types.

  • Impact, and risk and opportunity (IRO) assessment: Identifies and evaluates the specific ESG areas of risk to your business and the opportunities for making an impact on the environment and society. This assessment helps identify the IROs that are material to your business in line with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) framework.
  • Materiality Assessment: Identifies the relative impact that different ESG topics can have on your business’s success, and the impact that your business can have on these topics for the environment and society.
  • Impact and Risk and Opportunity Assessments
Easily create, manage, and score impacts, risks, and opportunities (IROs) in line with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) directive. Show your IROs in an automatically generated heat map to identify the material environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics for your company. Track the IROs throughout your reporting journey in the Information Library.
