Recalculate your emissions inventory records when you update your data. When you
recalculate an inventory record, all its related child records are also recalculated. The
amount of time needed to recalculate depends on the number of records that you have in Net Zero Cloud. Salesforce recommends that you run a full recalculation overnight or on a
weekend.

To create and modify an annual emissions inventory:

When you change data, sometimes all the changes don’t cascade to the inventory records
related to your data. For example, if you change the reporting year for the carbon footprint
record, Net Zero Cloud doesn’t recalculate the inventory records that use the carbon
footprint record’s data. In this case, your annual emissions inventory records can get out
of sync.
Only the user who created the record or who has Modify All Records access to the record can
view or modify that record, including recalculate, or viewing the Recalculate actions menu
item on the record. To enable a user to view or modify records created by other users, your
Salesforce admin must grant the Modify All Records access for the user on the required
objects. For more information about setting permissions, see Troubleshoot Object and Record Access
Issues.
From the App Launcher, find and select Annual Emissions
Inventories.
Open an emissions inventory.
From the actions menu, select Recalculate.
