You are here:
Manage Dependencies in a Fulfillment Diagram
In a diagram, you can edit or delete dependency definitions, and you can change the source orchestration item for a dependency.
- Open the diagram that has the dependency you want to manage (see Open an Existing Fulfillment Diagram).
- On the orchestration item that contains the dependency, depending on which dependency you want to manage, click either the Sources or Dependent dropdown arrow.
- In the Manage Dependencies dropdown menu that opens, select the dependency.
Note If an orchestration item has a dependency with another orchestration item that is not in the diagram, the menu shows a Hidden Dependencies section, which shows the name of that dependency. You can't select that dependency, but it's there to let you know that a dependency outside the diagram exists. The two orchestration items that form the dependency are now highlighted in the diagram:
There's also a small dropdown arrow that appears on the dependency arrow. - On the dependency arrow, click the drop-down arrow, and then select the option you want.

Change Source Orchestration Item: Select this option if you want to change the dependency definition's source item to an item that exists within the same diagram (it does not have to exist in the same swimlane). After you select this option, all eligible source items will feature a Plus icon, which you can click to make that item a source item in the dependency.
Edit Dependency Definition: Select this option to change the dependency definition name, scope, or the source item to an item that exists outside the current diagram. Make these changes in the Edit window that opens.
Delete Dependency Definition: Select this option to delete the dependency definition from the system. The related orchestration item definitions are unaffected and stay in the diagram. Only the dependency definition is deleted.
The diagram is updated with your changes. If your changes don't appear, try refreshing the diagram.
