Change a static bundled product to a configurable bundled product when you
want to configure the product bundle during run time. You can also change a configurable bundled
product to a static bundled product when you don’t want users to configure the product
bundle during run time.
While you can change a static bundled product to a configurable bundled
product (or vice versa), you can’t change a simple products to bundled products (or vice versa).
Also, changes to the Configure During Sale field value affects the run-time configurability
behavior of the product. Ensure that you correctly configure your products.
Change a Static Bundle Product To a Configurable Bundle Product You can change a static product bundle to a configurable product bundle when you want to configure the bundle during run time. Configurable product bundles have products under a group. Additionally, the parent product is always configurable in the run time.
Change a Configurable Bundle Product to a Static Bundle Product You can change a configurable bundle product to a static product bundle when you don’t want to configure the bundle during run time. You can't configure products in a static product bundle during run time. Every bundle component is present in the bundle by default and can’t be removed. You can’t change the child component quantity in the run time. Every attribute of every product component has a default value.
