            Product Catalog Management Set Up

            Product Catalog Management includes different permission sets for users. These users or personas perform various roles in implementing and managing your product portfolio. Configure your users to use Product Catalog Management and assign permission sets so that the users can access catalogs, products, attributes, rules, context definitions, product bundles, and more. To complete the setup of Product Catalog Management, adjust the page layout and field access on the product object.

            • Set Up Objects for Product Catalog Management
              To complete the setup of Product Catalog Management, adjust the page layout and field access on the product catalog objects.
            • Record Sharing in Product Catalog Management
              Set up record sharing and grant all runtime users of Product Catalog Management read access to all child records and related object records for a given product.
            • Create Product Specifications in Agentforce Revenue Management
              With Product Catalog Management, you can define a specification type for the products that are unique to your industry. A product specification type is associated with a product specification record type.
            • Customize and Extend the Product Catalog Management Home Page
              Manage attributes, products, catalogs, and rules on the Product Catalog Management app’s home page. Your admin can use the Lightning App Builder to customize and extend the home page for your users.
            • Translate Product Catalog Data
              Display product catalog data in the user’s configured language with data translation. Localize key Product Catalog Management (PCM) objects so buyers and sales teams can search, filter, and browse in their preferred language, improving accuracy and adoption.
            • Configure Product Catalog Management Cache
              The Product Catalog Management caching solution adds a caching layer to quickly retrieve product details. Product Details API uses the Product Catalog Management cache to access the frequently used product details without reloading them from the source every time.
            • Configure Decimal Support for Unit-Level Prices
              Improve pricing accuracy by configuring up to six decimal places for unit-level rate and currency fields. Show precise values for unit prices, list prices, and discounts across product discovery, quote, and order pages. Standard summary and total fields retain their default decimal settings.
            • Product Discovery Setup
