Educational institutions use program management to define and disperse benefits to
support student success and mentoring initiatives. To assign a success team, add a benefit, and
include an intake assessment to a new support program, use an enhanced creation process in
Education Cloud.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and
Developer Editions with Education Cloud
User Permissions Needed
To create support programs with assessments:
Education Cloud Full Access
From the App Launcher, find and select Student Success or
Mentoring.
From the app navigation menu, select Programs.
Click New Support Program.
Enter a name and start date for the program.
For Status, select Active.
Under Additional Details, find and select the success team.
Note We recommend that you relate advising programs to success teams to
make sure that features work as intended.
To allow learners to view the program, select Show on Learner
Portal.
For Omni Process, enter the name of your assessment Omniscript.
Under Benefit, select the type of education benefit that you want to create.
Under Benefit Details, enter a benefit name.
Enter the benefit type, such as Advising or Mentoring.
To make the benefit available, click Active.
Enter any other details, and then save your changes.
