Manage Relationships, Events, and Timelines in Program Management

Manage Relationships, Events, and Timelines in Program Management

Use graphs, events, and timelines to create visual representations of activities, the relationships among the community members that you serve, and the moments that changed their lives.

          Required Editions

Available in: Education Cloud, Nonprofit Cloud, and Public Sector Solutions. View edition availability.

Configure and View Graphs of Relationships

Help users visualize client or household relationships with Actionable Relationship Center (ARC). In Setup, create an account relationship graph and add it to the Account page layout. Caseworkers and other support staff use relationship graph views to easily view, edit, create, and delete records when they meet clients and support team members.

Capture and View an Individual’s Life Events

Use Events to capture and visualize the key events and milestones in a client's life, such as getting married or changing jobs, or getting placed in housing. Use the details to inform care plans and other services.

          Configure and Use Timelines

Use the Timeline component to track the activities related to programs, participants, benefits, and other standard and custom objects to get a chronological, intuitive, and visual timeline.

Program Management includes the Benefit Disbursements Timeline. Make it easy for program managers to see upcoming and past benefit disbursements, add the Timeline component to the person account Lightning record page, and select the Benefit Disbursements Timeline. Program managers can use the timeline to quickly see if there are any discrepancies in the disbursement data and investigate by contacting the participants or service providers.

          Note
Note Person accounts were not built to work with Nonprofit Success Pack and therefore, are not supported for use with NPSP. If Person Accounts are not already enabled in your org, don't enable them. Once you turn on Person Accounts in your organization, you can't turn the feature off. See NPSP and Person Accounts in NPSP FAQ.

Before you configure a timeline, identify your requirements. At a minimum, decide the objects that are required for the timeline and the information that you want the timeline to show.
