Casework Overview in Investigative Case Management
Get a comprehensive view of a case and manage critical case data from the predefined
case record page, known as Casework Overview. After you set up Investigative Case Management,
Casework Overview is readily available in the Investigative Case Management console app.
With Casework Overview, incident managers, investigators, and caseworkers can:
Review and add records of objects that are related to the case in an easy-to-navigate graph.
For example, the related public complaints, or case proceedings.
Identify the parties involved in a case and the relationships among them. For example, the
victim and the defender, or the lawyer and the defender.
Capture evidence as custody items, track the chain of custody, and link the related
violations, by using a guided flow.
Fill out assessments to evaluate preliminary information, and perform a case and risk
assessment.
Conduct investigation, take detailed notes, add the next steps, list attendees, attach
relevant files, and share the notes with other users, by using a guided flow.
Track the details of case proceedings.
Review and manage the related regulatory code violations.
Know and update the status of the case.
Get a quick chronological view of the case-related activities.
