Use inspections to evaluate regulatory compliance, such as whether a business meets fire or heath and safety regulations. During an onsite visit, inspectors or compliance officers ask a fixed set of questions to verify that the site or business conforms to regulatory codes and required safety measures. Checklists and action plans guide them through assessment questions and tasks on their visit. Based on their observations, inspectors record violations and violation enforcement actions.

Inspections are best suited for straightforward compliance evaluations or assessments that use a list of questions that don’t need conditional logic or edits. For more complex evaluations, set up and use Dynamic Assessments. See Dynamic Assessments in Public Sector Solutions. While you can migrate Dynamic Assessments between orgs, you need to recreate the inspection setup manually in the target org.

          Agentforce for Compliance Management

Use an Agentforce AI agent to automate post-visit administrative tasks, freeing compliance officers to focus on complex cases. The agent confirms and summarizes policy violations, identifies enforcement actions and fees, and emails summaries to business owners.

For more information, see Compliance Management with Agentforce.
