          Create Interest Tags

          Create Interest Tags

          To relate interest tags to notes, create tag categories, and then create interest tags in those categories.

          Required Editions

          View supported product editions.
          User Permissions Needed
          To create and edit interest tags: Interaction Summary

          You can also create and assign interest tags while you create an interaction note, or from the Interaction Summary tab, by clicking Interest Tags Icon for an interaction summary record.

          1. Create interest tag categories.
            1. From the App Launcher, find and select Tag Categories.
            2. Click New.
            3. Enter a category name. For example, enter Confidentiality.
            4. Enter a description.
            5. If you're creating a second-level or third-level tag category, select a parent category.
            6. For Level, enter 1, 2, or 3.
            7. Select an icon to represent the tag category.
            8. To activate the new category, select Is Active.
            9. Save your changes.
            10. Repeat these steps to create additional tag categories.
          2. Create interest tags.
            1. From the App Launcher, find and select Interest Tags.
            2. Click New.
            3. Enter a tag name. For example, enter Internal.
            4. Enter a description.
            5. Select a tag category.
            6. Save your changes.
