Junction Objects in Public Sector
Understand how Public Sector (formerly Public Sector Solutions) uses junction objects to create many-to-many relationships between objects.

A junction object establishes a many-to-many relationship between two Salesforce objects. This connection links each record of one object to multiple records from another object and vice versa. For example, the Business Regulatory Authorization Type junction object connects one or more Business Types to one or more Regulatory Authorization Types.
Public Sector includes the junction objects listed here out of the box, though you can create your own junction objects to meet the needs of your agency.

To connect records using a junction object:
- From the App Launcher, find and open the junction object you want to use, and then click New.
- Select the records that you want to connect.
- Save your changes.
