Create a Quote

Discover and price products for your customers by creating quotes directly in Revenue Cloud. These records help you organize product selections and apply pricing logic before finalizing a transaction.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions of Revenue Cloud where Transaction Management is enabled

User Permissions Needed
To create quotes:	Manage Revenue Cloud

Generate a new quote record from an opportunity or the main Quotes tab to begin the pricing process.

Start the quote creation process.
- From an opportunity record, go to the Quotes section, and select New Quote.
- From the Quotes tab, click New Quote.
Enter the quote details, including the name, account, opportunity, and status.
Optionally, select any custom fields that your Salesforce admin enabled.
Save your changes.
