Assign Permission Sets to Work with Agentforce
Assign users the permission sets they require to set up and use Agentforce in Retail Execution.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience Available in: Agentforce 1, Einstein 1, Enterprise, and Unlimited editions with Consumer Goods Cloud Retail Execution and Agentforce for Consumer Goods Cloud add-on licenses. |

Before you begin, enable Agentforce and Retail Execution org preferences in the Consumer Goods Cloud. See Enable Agentforce for Consumer Goods Cloud on Desktop App.
To assign permission sets to users:
Permissions Sets for Customer Service Assistance
Assign permission sets to users for using the Customer Service Assistance.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users and then select Users.
- Click a user record.
- Click Permission Set Assignments , and then click Edit Assignments.

For admins, move these permission sets to the Enabled Permission Sets list:
- Prompt Template Manager
- (Manage AI Agents and Manage Agentforce Employee Agents), OR Customize Application

For users, move these permission sets to the Enabled Permission Sets list:
- Prompt Template User
- Access CGCloud AI Assistive Agent
- Industries Service Excellence

Retail Execution permission sets based on the users' profile. See Permission Sets From Summer ’24.
- Consumer Goods Cloud Service OR Consumer Goods Cloud Sales and Service (based on the permission sets assigned to the logged in user)
- CGCloud Service User
- Save your changes.
Permissions Sets for Retail Execution Visit Assistant
Assign permission sets to users for Retail Execution Visit Assistant.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users and then select Users.
- Click a user record.
- Click Permission Set Assignments , and then click Edit Assignments.
