          Manage Your Stores Efficiently

          Manage Your Stores Efficiently

Simplify the way you track stores, in-store locations, and the products sold in these stores by grouping. Managing large numbers of individual stores, in-store locations, and products can be time consuming and confusing. It’s hard to track which products are sold in which stores and where products are placed in each store. Grouping creates smaller numbers of store groups, in-store location categories, and assortments, making it easy to manage.

Available in Lightning Experience in Professional, Unlimited, and Enterprise Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled.
          • Create a Location
Location is the physical addresses of the places where your stores operate.
          • Create a Retail Store Group
A group of similar retail stores. You can group stores based on similarities such as store size, store location, and the products sold in the stores.
          • Create a Retail Store
A store is a place of business open to the public whose primary purpose is to sell retail goods or services onsite. This definition includes showrooms, kiosks, pop-ups, and other temporary locations. The store can be leased, owned, and operated by you or through an affiliate. Create retail store records for store locations. You can then create visits for the stores and assign them to field reps. All store-related visit and order records are available on the store’s related list.
          • Associate a Retail Store to Retail Store Groups
You can associate one retail store with multiple retail store groups. The store automatically inherits the key performance indicators (KPIs) from all the retail store groups. Also, you can associate one retail store group with multiple retail stores.
          • Create an In-Store Location Category
You can create an in-store location category to group similar in-store locations across a store group. For example, create an in-store location category of Back Rooms. You can then map all back rooms across a store group to the Back Rooms in-store location category.
          • Create an In-Store Location
An aisle, a shelf, a payment counter, back room, or some other location within a store layout. You can create an in-store location category to group similar in-store locations.
          • Create Products for Base Model
Define and configure product records in the base data model of Consumer Goods Cloud. Defining basic product attributes is necessary for retail execution, sales planning, and analytical insights across the platform. You can either create one product at a time in the application or import high-volume product information using Data Loader.
          • Associate a Product with a Store
Associate products with stores to easily track products sold at a specific store. You can mark the top-selling products as favorites and also enter a display order for each product. Display order determines the sequence of products whose assessment indicators are to be captured when performing a task. When account hierarchy for products is enabled, the products that are assigned to a retail store parent account are automatically available to all stores in that account hierarchy. Besides retail store, you can assign products to an account, or a retail store group.
          • Create a Product Category
Group products into product categories based on physical attributes or specific purposes. A product category groups products at the highest level of the product hierarchy and dictates the visibility of products in an account plan and in advanced promotions. A Key Account Manager can create promotions and assortments by product categories.
          • Assign a Product to a Product Category
You can assign a product to multiple product categories.
