Retail Execution Planning You can track and manage the performance of stores in your territory. You can plan visits for your sales reps and assign tasks to be performed in a visit. Salesforce Maps help you to create optimized routes for your field reps. And with the CRM Analytics app, you can increase sales, improve store compliance, identify stores at risk, and maximize field reps’ effectiveness. You can also use Salesforce Surveys to get insights about your business from channel partners.
Master Data Management Master data is a combination of legacy data and manually entered and maintained new data. Master data is the foundation of business processes and comprises business rules and functions for users, customers, regions, products, and organizational elements. Managing master data ensures consistency and control by providing processes to collect, aggregate, match, consolidate, quality-assure, and distribute data.
Visit Execution Execute visits by performing tasks such as check inventory, product placement, and in-store promotions. Or you take orders to restock the inventory or upsell your company’s other product offerings. You conduct surveys to gather feedback from store staff and customers.
Start of the Day Activities for a Tour To review your tour schedule, validate tour and vehicle information, perform basic vehicle inspection, and check out the inventory for a DSD or Van Sales tour, use the Driver and the Tour Cockpits on the Consumer Goods offline mobile app.
Van Sales Delivery Execution After completing the start tour activities in the warehouse, execute the tour by directly delivering products to stores by using van sales orders. During the delivery execution process, the tour driver begins a visit, places orders for product delivery, or collects returns via a return order. The tour driver then finalizes the order, generates a cash or credit invoice, prints or shares the invoice, and completes the order.
Delivery Execution with Delivery Documents Use delivery documents to deliver preordered products based on the inventory on the truck. During delivery execution, start a visit, provide products from the truck, and obtain signatures. Generate cash or credit invoices, and print or share invoices to finalize the delivery. You can pick up sellable returns, damaged products, or empty containers by using the return documents. The delivery documents and inventory sync to Salesforce when you complete the visit.
End-of-the-Day Activities for a Tour Review final tour details, perform vehicle inspections, do product check-ins for remaining products on the truck and returns, and complete all the end-of-the-day activities for a tour.
