Prerequisites for Creating an Inventory Check

Before you create an inventory check task type, you must create and associate these records.

Available in Lightning Experience in Professional, Unlimited, and Enterprise Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled.

Associate these records to a Retail Store:
- Products.
- In-Store Locations: While associating an In-Store Location with a Retail Store, ensure to associate every In-Store Location with an In-Store Location Category.
Associate the Retail Store to a Retail Store Group.
Define these records while creating a Retail Store KPI:
- Retail Store Group: Select the Retail Store Group that you associated with the Retail Store.
- In-Store Location Category: Select the In-Store Location Category that you used to create In-Store Locations. The In-Store Location Category sets up the link between an In-Store Location of a Retail Store and the Retail Store KPI.
- Assessment Indicator Definition for Product or Product Category at the same In-Store Location Category.
