Create an Assortment
An assortment is a group of products eligible for sale at a store, store group, or account. An assortment can have products from various product categories and defines product distribution over regions or customers.

- From the App Launcher, find and select Assortments, and then click New.

Provide these details:
Field Description Identification Name Name of the product assortment. Obligatory Indicates if a product assortment is closed. Products that are part of an assortment can be included in an order. This setting is relevant only for Assortment List record type.
Products that aren’t added in an assortment can also be added to an order. To add such products to an order, use an order item template that has the Closed Listing option selected. The order item template must be related to the order template.
Product Assortment Template Product assortment template used for creating the product assortment. Valid From Start date of the validity period of a product assortment. Valid Thru End date of the validity period of a product assortment. Description Description Language 1/2/3/4 Description of a customer template in the languages configured for the sales org. When operating with high volumes of data, use Data Loader to quickly import the list of stores and products and associate them to assortments.
