          Add Scan and Search in Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience

          Add the search and scan options to the assessment task page to enable field reps to use the search bar or barcodes to search for a product on their mobile device.

          Required Editions

          Available in Lightning Experience in Professional, Unlimited, and Enterprise Editions with the Consumer Goods Cloud enabled
          User Permissions Needed
          To customize assessment task page:

          CGCloud Sales User

          OR

          CGCloud Retail Sales User AND CGCloud Retail User

          Note
          Note The search and scan options are visible only for the inventory and order assessment types.
          1. From Setup, select Object Manager.
          2. In the Quick Find box, enter Assessment Task, and then select Assessment Task.
          3. Click Page Layouts, and then select Assessment Task Layout.
          4. Click Mobile and Lightning Actions.
          5. Drag Search and Scan from the panel onto the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section.
          6. Save your changes.
