Deployment Packages

Customize the Consumer Goods Cloud mobile app by using Visual Studio Code Based Modeler for Consumer Goods Cloud. Use deployment packages to expedite the deployment of customizations to the app users of your org by uploading your customizations in a zipped deployment file.

A deployment package downloads during each synchronization (including the background sync) of the Consumer Goods Cloud mobile app after you upload the deployment package. However, the deployment package is applied only when the Consumer Goods mobile app starts.

• Upload a Deployment Package
  Upload the deployment package containing the mobile app customizations to the sync app and then assign users who can use the deployment package.
• Revoke a Deployment Package
  When you no longer need a customization, revoke a deployment package.
• View Deployment Package Installation Details
  To get the details of a deployment package, view the details of the installations.
• Downloading Latest Metadata
  If you haven’t made metadata changes from the Sync Configurator tab, for example field sets or permission sets, force the update.
