You are here:
Sync Configuration
Use the Sync Configuration tab to configure and monitor the Consumer Goods Cloud offline mobile app. You can configure tracked objects, named fetch trees, named queries, mobile settings and sync settings.
- Assignments
Assignments determine the sync configuration and tracked object distribution configuration for a user. Based on the determination rule for the object-mapping algorithm, the correct assignment is fetched from the various levels of configuration capabilities. Each level consists of a sync configuration and a tracked object configuration. You can create assignments between users, profiles, and roles for all levels in the configuration tree. One combination of an assignment in a configuration can’t be mapped to another configuration. - Tracked Objects
You can configure tracked objects for a configuration. Child configurations inherit the tracked object properties of the immediate parent configuration. Every tracked object corresponds to one object in Salesforce. - Sync Config Page
Use this page to configure sync settings and mobile options, and to set limits for configurations. - Named Fetch Trees
You can create a link between an object—configured as a tracked object in an named fetch tree —and a record that you want to sync with the object by configuring NFTs. NFTs are directly called by a business logic. You can define a business logic by using the Visual Studio Code Based Modeler for Consumer Goods Cloud. - Named Query
Named queries are used to limit the data that is sent to a mobile device. - Mobile Settings Page
The Mobile Settings page shows the general mobile settings that are applicable to all mobile devices. - Sync Settings
Get a consolidated view of the most relevant sync features and manage their settings on the Sync Settings page. Optimize your sync experience by downloading only relevant incremental data and setting a threshold on the maximum users who can sync simultaneously. Diagnose named queries using the Named Query Analyzer tool. Trace sync logs using unique IDs and resolve sync configuration issues by sending sync-related KPIs to Salesforce. Make Lightning Web Component (LWC)-based custom features available in the Consumer Goods (CG) Cloud mobile app. Customize print layout in the customization layer and print documents from the app by using Bluetooth thermal printers.
