          Sync Settings

          Sync Settings

Get a consolidated view of the most relevant sync features and manage their settings on the Sync Settings page. Optimize your sync experience by downloading only relevant incremental data and setting a threshold on the maximum users who can sync simultaneously. Diagnose named queries using the Named Query Analyzer tool. Trace sync logs using unique IDs and resolve sync configuration issues by sending sync-related KPIs to Salesforce. Make Lightning Web Component (LWC)-based custom features available in the Consumer Goods (CG) Cloud mobile app. Customize print layout in the customization layer and print documents from the app by using Bluetooth thermal printers.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Agentforce 1, Einstein 1, Enterprise, and Unlimited editions with Consumer Goods Cloud Retail Execution and Agentforce for Consumer Goods Cloud add-on licenses.

The Sync Settings page in the Sync Configuration tab page provides the flexibility to configure sync features and determine the usage of certain sync features for all your users or for specific users. Starting Summer ’24, all the sync settings on this page are enabled for all users by default, except the Calculate sync time with CPU time setting. Existing users must manually enable the enhanced sync settings each time they upgrade their Sync Management app.

          • Calculate Sync Time with CPU Time
Protect your system from reaching potential Apex CPU governance limit exceptions by incorporating a buffer in the calculation of sync execution time.
          • Include Sync IDs in Logs
Use the unique ID assigned to each synchronization operation to improve your debugging and troubleshooting experience. With the sync ID appended to the logs, you can easily filter and trace sync transactions and plan necessary actions.
          • Display Named Query Analyzer Tool
Turn on the Named Query Analyzer tool to view the hierarchy of named queries and the number of SOQL queries that were run for the named query.
          • Queue Sync Users at Maximum Limit
Prevent overloading the system and maintain optimal performance when the number of sales reps initiating sync simultaneously from their mobile devices exceeds the configured limit.
          • Bluetooth Thermal Printer
Configure print layout and print documents from your Consumer Goods Cloud mobile app through Bluetooth thermal printers.
          • Integrate Agentforce in CG mobile app
Sales reps can now use agentic capabilities directly in their Consumer Goods Cloud mobile app.
          • Integrate LWC With CG Cloud Offline Mobile App
Show the features built with Lightning web components (LWCs) in the Consumer Goods (CG) Cloud mobile app in integrated mode, such as the Quick Action card on Your Day. The integrated LWC-based features function only when the CG Cloud mobile app is online.
          • Sync Using Enhanced Named Fetch Trees over REST
Save on data volume and the time taken to download data as well as avoid redundant data transfers by downloading incremental REST-based named fetch trees updates.
          • Include KPIs in Sync Logs
Get better support and assistance to analyze and resolve your sync configuration issues by sending sync-related KPIs to Salesforce. You can review the KPIs collected for a sync process and take actions to optimize sync performance.
