            Initiate a Sync Process

            The first sync performed after installing the mobile app is called Initial Sync. Based on the configuration, initiate syncs whenever the Consumer Goods offline mobile app is launched.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience

            Available in: Agentforce 1, Einstein 1, Enterprise, and Unlimited editions with Consumer Goods Cloud Retail Execution and Agentforce for Consumer Goods Cloud add-on licenses.
            User Permissions Needed
            To sync data from the Consumer Goods offline mobile app: CGCloud Sales User
            1. Connect and download content in the mobile app:
              1. Load configuration and tracked object metadata.
              2. Initialize the database.
              3. Migrate and initialize scheduled jobs.
            2. Upload and download data:
              1. Evaluate named queries and tracked objects.
              2. Download tracked object records.
                If the sync is Initial Sync, you have no data to upload.
            3. Configure the mobile app and download named fetch tree (NFT) data.
