            Set Field-Level Security for Document Type in Salesforce Contracts

            Set the field-level security for the Document Type field so that users can view generated documents in the document viewer.

            REQUIRED EDITIONS
            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, Professional, and Developer Editions
            USER PERMISSIONS NEEDED  
            To set field-level security for document type: CLM Admin User
            1. From Setup, go to Object Manager.
            2. In the Quick Find box, enter Contract Document Version, and then click Contract Document Version Content Document.
            3. Click Fields & Relationships, and then click Document Type.
            4. Click Set Field-Level Security, and then select Visible for all the profiles that use the contract document generation feature.
            5. Save your changes.
