Salesforce Contracts Licenses

Salesforce Contracts enables businesses to create and maintain the entire lifecycle of contracts associated with opportunities, orders, quotes, and other Salesforce standard and custom objects. When you purchase an add-on license you get the corresponding platform license and permission set license.

  Permission set licenses give users incremental access to features that aren't included in their user licenses. Users can be assigned any number of permission set licenses. Personas define what different types of users can do in Salesforce Contracts. Each persona is mapped to specific responsibilities and permission sets that determine the level of access a user has.

  Many of the tasks requires that you understand permission set combinations. The section provides a detailed mapping of the Salesforce Contracts personas with the required permissions sets.
• Permission Set Licenses for Salesforce Contracts Analytics
  Ensure that either Revenue Intelligence permission set license (PSL) or CRM Analytics Plus PSL is available with the CLM Analytics PSL. CLM Analytics PSL is bundled with all Industry Analytics SKUs and isn't available separately. If your subscription includes the Industry Revenue Intelligence for Industry SKU, you have access to Revenue Intelligence PSL for user assignment. Otherwise, only the CRM Analytics Plus is accessible for user assignment. If you have the Intelligence SKU, you must also add the Revenue Intelligence for <Industry> admin permission accordingly.​​​
