Launch Service Processes with Action Launcher

Service agents can launch service processes created in the Service Process Studio using Action Launcher from a record details page.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: all editions with the Industry Service Excellence licenses
User Permissions Needed
To set up and use Service Process Studio:

Industry Service Excellence permission set

AND

Other required object permissions

An org admin creates and activates a service process definition, and associates the request form linked to a service process definition to an Action Launcher Deployment. Service agents can search for and launch these services processes from the Action Launcher component on a record details page.

  1. Give standard users or Contact Center Agents (CCA) access to OmniScripts so that the agents can see OmniScripts in the Action Launcher search results.
  2. Search and launch a service process from a record details page.
