Calculation of TPM Account Plans

The system calculates the account plan by sequentially performing these actions:

• Determines the sales organizations and accounts that the nightly batch is to be initiated for by checking the Batch Process Configuration custom setting.
• Determines the promotions for every customer and sales organization.
• Creates the necessary object queues for promotions, account product list, and account plans in CG Cloud Processing Services.
• If no process queue is available, the system creates one for each sales organization cluster.
• Fills promotion object queues and calculates the promotions.
• After calculating the promotions, the system starts to update the account product list. To complete this process, the dynamic queue process fills the account product list object queues.
• Fills in the account plan queue, and then calculates the account plan.
