          Set Up CRM Analytics to Predict Sales Uplift Volume

          Get sales uplift predictions to gain insights into how specific promotion plans and KPIs impact sales by comparing them to your initial baseline sales forecast.

          In CRM Analytics, create an app for clustering based on external data to group your sales data effectively. Next, use the Forecast Baseline Sales Volume template to generate baseline sales unit forecasts. With these forecast baseline sales unit datasets, configure a Predict Sales Uplift Volume app that predicts the uplift volume.

          • Cluster Accounts and Product Categories by Using Scoring Framework
            In Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO), segment sales data by historical patterns to form meaningful clusters for training prediction models. Use the Scoring Framework to configure a CRM Analytics app for clustering accounts and product categories. Clustering enhances the Baseline Model’s effectiveness in forecasting baseline sales by grouping products with similar sales volume and variance. This data segmentation results in more accurate and stable forecasts and eliminates the need to manually select accounts and products before installing the TPO Baseline App.
          • Baseline Sales Volume Forecast by Using Scoring Framework
            In Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO), the baseline sales volume forecast provides the expected sales or product performance without considering any promotional efforts. Use Scoring Framework to set up a CRM Analytics app for generating baseline sales volume forecasts for products.
          • Sales Uplift Volume Predictions by Using Scoring Framework
            The Sales Uplift Volume Predictions app provides predictions on how specific promotion plans and key performance indicators (KPIs) affect sales by comparing them to the initial baseline sales forecast for products. Use the Scoring Framework to configure an app for predicting sales uplift volume.
          • Writeback Forecasted Baseline Sales Units
            Use the Writeback Forecasted Baseline Sales Units template to create a CRM Analytics app that writes back forecasted baseline sales value and sales units to Amazon S3 through an output connection. You can also use the same template to create the app that writes back the uplift prediction model ID and Forecasted Baseline Sales Units Dataset API Name.
