Baseline Sales Volume Forecast by Using Scoring Framework
In Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO), the baseline sales volume forecast provides the
expected sales or product performance without considering any promotional efforts. Use Scoring
Framework to set up a CRM Analytics app for generating baseline sales volume forecasts for
products.
Required Editions
Available in: Enterprise, Developer, Professional, and
Unlimited Editions that have TPM Revenue Prediction and Trade Promotion
Management enabled
Note Ensure you verify the supported cardinality for your prediction model. The supported
cardinality impacts the number of unique products and accounts that can be included in the
model. For more information, see High Cardinality Alert.
Before You Begin Before configuring the app, assign permission sets to administrators and users and activate CRM Analytics and the Scoring Framework.
Create a CRM Analytics Template Configuration To get the forecast volume of baseline sales, create a CRM Analytics template configuration in Scoring Framework with Forecast Baseline Sales Volume (Trade Promotion Optimization) template configuration type.
Apply Security Predicate to Your Datasets Apply security predicates to the relevant datasets by using Product Manager entity to restrict the users' access only to the products and customers assigned to them.
CRM Analytics App Assets The CRM Analytics app that you create to forecast baseline sales volume contains preconfigured recipes that generate datasets and a model. Use the dashboard to get insights into the forecasted baseline sales.
