An assortment template is the blueprint to create assortment records. When you create an
assortment by using an assortment template, the assortment is available only in the sales
organization that the template is assigned to.

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions where Consumer Goods
Cloud is enabled
From the App Launcher, find and select Product Assortment
Click New.
Select Planning Assortment List.
Enter the name and description for the template.
Select the product level.
To an assortment that’s created by using this template, you can add only the products
that belong to the level that you select.
Select the sales organization that the template belongs to.
To determine the number of customers that you can assign to an assortment created by
using this template, select the appropriate option for Customer Multiplicity.
Select Active.
To consider the products of an assortment (created by using this template) when a
time-dependent product list is generated, select Consider for APL
Generation.
Save your changes.
