          Required Editions

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions where Consumer Goods Cloud is enabled

          User Permissions Needed
To create a query parameter: CGCloud Business Admin
          1. In Setup, find and select Custom Metadata Types.
          2. For Query Parameters, click Manage Records.
          3. Click New.
          4. Add a label and a name.
          5. Select a parameter type.
            • Static: If the parameter value remains unchanged
            • UI Driven: If the parameter value is dynamically added based on the query UI
            • Contextual: If the parameter value is derived from a contextual object
          6. Enter a unique number as the order of the query parameter.
All related query parameters must be sequential and one record must have the parameter order value set to 0. To ensure that you enter a unique number, check the query parameters added to the query definition.
          7. To add a single quotation to the supplied parameter value, select Requires Single Quotation.
          8. Select a query definition.
          9. If the parameter type is Contextual, enter a default value of the parameter.
          10. If the parameter type is Static or Contextual, enter a parameter value.
If the parameter type is Contextual, enter a field name for the contextual object. If the parameter type is Static, enter the list with actual values for the query parameter record, each value in a new line.
          11. Save your changes.
