            Create KPI Sets

            Create a KPI set and add KPI definitions to the KPI set based on the object scope of the KPI.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions where Consumer Goods Cloud is enabled

            To create a KPI set: CGCloud Business Admin
            1. From the App Launcher, find and select KPI Sets.
            2. Click New.
            3. Enter a name and description for the KPI set.
            4. For usage, specify whether the system uses the KPI to calculate account plan, promotion, claim, or rate-based funding (RBF).
            5. To indicate that the KPI set contains promotion-dependent KPI definitions, select Child Object Dependency.
            6. Save your changes.
            7. Add a KPI definition to the KPI set.
              1. Click New KPI Set KPI Definition.
              2. Select a KPI definition.
              3. In Sort Order, enter the order in which the KPI appears in the set.
              4. Select the subsets that determine where the KPI definitions are shown.
                For example, to show the KPI in the Volume Planning Card (VPC) of a promotion, select VPC.
              5. For KPI sets used in customer business plans (CBP), in Storage Options Subset, specify the writeback subset that the KPI definition belongs to.
                Select Basic if KPI definitions are promotion independent and are calculated in the first stage of the CBP calculation. Select Business Plan for promotion-relevant KPIs that are calculated in the final stage of the CBP. For example, mark Baseline Volume as Basic, and Margin as Business Plan. So, when you update a KPI in the CBP, all KPIs are calculated and updated. Baseline Volume shows the accurate numbers because it’s marked as Basic and the calculations are done in the browser as soon as the updates are made. However, the number shown for Margins isn’t accurate because it’s marked as Business Plan. Click Save and Calculate to trigger the promotions is calculated in the CG Processing services, and only when the calculation is complete, the value for Margin is updated in the CBP.
              6. For promotion planning KPI sets, if a KPI is added to the Promotion Scenarios subset, in Sort Subset PSP, enter a number to specify the order in which the KPIs are sorted in the promotion scenarios.
              7. To copy the manual inputs of a promotion when copying the promotion to create promotions, in Manual Input Copy Mode, select Yes.
            8. On the KPI Set details screen, click Update Configuration.
            9. To view the KPI Set configuration, click Show Configuration.
            10. To view the statistics of the KPI set, click Show Summary.
