          Main Objects in Multi-Fund Transactions

          Use the multi-fund transaction objects to create and move funds allocated for promotions or payments.

          Object API Name Description
          Fund cgcloud__Fund__c

          The amount allocated for promotional activities. A fund can be created for: 

          • A customer
          • A customer-category combination
          • A customer-brand combination

          By using these fund types, finance managers can create a variety of funds, each serving a distinct purpose in running promotions. A finance manager can also create funds with various customer- and product-anchor combinations.

          Fund Template cgcloud__Fund_Template__c Template to create various types of funds. The template dictates the properties of a fund, such as currency, customer, or product anchor, and links funds to a tactic or promotion via the tactic template. A Fund Template links the funds to a tactic or promotion via the tactic template.
          MFT Template cgcloud__Fund_Transaction_Template__c

          Template to create transactions, such as:

          • Initial
          • Adjustment
          • Transfer
          • Drawback

          The template dictates the characteristics of a multi-fund transaction, such as KPI set or anchor type.

          Multi-Fund Transactions cgcloud__Fund_Transaction_Header__c

          Transactions to create a fixed budget for promotions:

          • Initial: Transaction to create funds. The transactions don’t need a source fund but can have one or more target funds.
          • Adjustment: Transaction to revoke funds from one or more source funds. These transactions don’t need target funds. For example, adjustment transactions from a customer-product fund.
          • Transfer: Transaction to transfer funds from a source to one or more target funds. For example, transfer of funds from NTO-Headquarters (HQ) to NTO-Atlanta and NTO-Detroit.
          • Drawback: Transaction to transfer funds from one or more source funds to a target fund. For example, transfer of funds from NTO-Atlanta and NTO-Detroit to NTO-Headquarters (HQ).

          The type of transaction is determined based on the fund template selected during the creation of the transaction.

          Sales Org cgcloud__Sales_Organization__c

          Business segments to structure your data and business processes by your organizational unit. For example, one sales org for the EMEA region and another sales org for the APAC region.

          Base business segmentation on geographical territories, product division, or account team.

          Each business template is related to a sales org. Records created using the templates are available only for the related sales org.

          Transaction Rows cgcloud__Fund_Transaction_Row__c For each transaction, the system creates a debit transaction row and a credit transaction row.
          Transactions cgcloud__Fund_Transaction__c Transactions carried out for each fund. Transactions can be to initialize, adjust, or transfer funds for promotions.
