A product template segregates your products by sales organization. When you create a
product using a product template, the product is available only in the sales organization that the
template is assigned to. Create at least two product templates for your sales organization: one
for products and the other for product groups. Product Groups are also Product2
records.

User Permissions Needed
To create a product template:
CGCloud Business Admin
From the App Launcher, find and select Product Templates.
Click New.
For the template type, select Product Group, and click
Next.
Enter a name for the product template, and select Active.
If it's required to enter the price for the products using the template, select
Price Required.
Select the sales organization that the template belongs to.
Save your changes.
Enter descriptions for the template in languages that are configured for the sales
organization that you selected.
Repeat these steps to create a product template by selecting Product
for the template type.
