          Create a Fund

          Use a fund template to create a fund. Depending on whether a template is anchored to customer or customer products, create the associated fund for a customer or a customer-product combination.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience

          Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions where Consumer Goods Cloud is enabled

          User Permissions Needed
          To create a fund: CGCloud Finance Manager or TPM Finance Manager
          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Funds.
          2. Click New.
          3. Select an active fund template from the list and then click Select.
          4. For Actual RBF, select the KPI definitions that determine the actual value of rate-based funds.
          5. Enter the description for the fund.
          6. Select the status of the fund.
          7. Select the dates within which the fund is valid.
          8. Select the customer related to the fund.
          9. If you selected Customer Product as the anchor type for the template used, select a product.
            If the product-level is Category in the template, select a category-level product. If the product-level is Brand in the template, select a brand-level product. In the hierarchy grid of a fund, the products are displayed according to the level of the anchored products.
          10. Save your changes.
