Use
an
active
promotion template to
create a promotion. Based on
the
tactics you assign
to a
promotion, the
system
assigns the promoted products and other
details,
such as product description, product quantity,
and promoted
price,
related to the tactic to the
promotion.
You can also create a promotion from the Trade Calendar view.

To create a promotion:
CGCloud KAM
From the App Launcher, find and select Advanced Promotions.
On the Advanced Promotions page, click New TPM Promotion.
Select a promotion template.
Promotion templates appear according to their sort value in ascending order. Templates
with an empty sort value appear first on the list. If two or more templates have the same or
empty sort value, the system sorts the templates alphabetically based on the Description
field.
If the timeframe determination policy is selected as Manual in the promotion template,
select the
start and end
dates for the
promotion.
If the anchor type is selected as Customer in the promotion template, select a
customer.
Enter a slogan.
Select a KPI and its value.
You can add multiple KPIs for a promotion.
Select a tactic template and its compensation model.
You can add multiple tactics for a promotion.
Save your changes.
On
the promotion
page,
click a tactic card to see the details of the tactic.
Note If you defined a field dependency
for the Claim Methods field for the Tactics object, then the other tactic fields are populated
based on the defined dependency. For example, if the Payment Terms field is dependent on the
Claim Methods field, then based on the selected claim method, the first picklist value for
payment terms appears by default.
