            Configure the PDF Conversion Custom Option

            You can set the PDF Conversion option from the PDFGenerationSource custom setting. What you select and the template type you're using, affects the availability of the documents that you can download and attach after generating documents.

            Before you change this custom setting, make sure you've reviewed the details above.

            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Custom.
            2. Click Custom Settings.
            3. Click Manage next to Contract Management Configuration Setup.
            4. Click Edit next to PdfGenerationSource.
            5. Enter one of these options:
              Option Description
              VlocityClientSide This is the Vlocity Client-Side Converter.
              • Supports both Document Generation 1.0 and Document Generation 2.0.
              • Select this option to use Document Generation 2.0 functionality for PDF generation.
              Salesforce This is the Salesforce PDF Rendering Service.
              • Uses the Salesforce Content Platform’s internal PDF generation capabilities.
              • This option doesn't provide Document Generation 2.0 functionality.
            6. Click Save.
