Vlocity Contract Lifecycle Management

Vlocity Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) allows businesses to create and maintain accurate contracts associated with opportunities, orders, and quotes.

Vlocity CLM is entirely compatible with Salesforce Lightning Experience. When using Lightning Experience, on opportunities, orders, and quotes, Create Contract, Update Contract, and Pick Frame Contract are Lightning actions.

Vlocity CLM can be used in conjunction with ​Salesforce Industries Communications, Media, and Energy; Vlocity Health; and Vlocity Government.

  After you install or upgrade to a new release of ​Salesforce Industries Communications, Media, and Energy, or Vlocity Health, Vlocity Insurance, or Vlocity Government you must complete post-installation or post-upgrade steps for Vlocity Contract Lifecycle Management.
• Contract Lifecycle Management Overview
  Using Vlocity Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), you can create and maintain the entire life cycle of contracts associated with opportunities, orders, quotes or other Salesforce custom objects. Vlocity CLM integrates contract creation with the sales process, which means contracts are carried forward through the different stages of a sale from opportunity to quote to order. You can also create standalone contracts that are not part of any sales process. For example, you can create non-transactional contracts such as NDAs or partner agreements.
• Document Generation Overview
  With Document Generation, you can generate contracts, proposals, quotes, reports, non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, and so on. You can generate documents using the specified sample client-side or server-side Omniscripts. You can also create your own Omniscripts by cloning and customizing the sample Omniscript to generate documents.
• Document Generation 2.0 for Managed Packages
  The document generation application helps you generate various types of documents such as quotes, proposals, and contracts by using Salesforce data. To use Document Generation 2.0, customers on the Industries Communications, Media, Energy & Utilities (CME), Insurance (INS), Vlocity Government (PS), and Omnistudio managed packages must provide in-app consent.
