Mapping Geolocation Dimensions in Marketing Cloud Intelligence

Mapping Geolocation Dimensions in Marketing Cloud Intelligence

Geolocation refers to the geographical location of an internet-connected device. Found from the user's IP address, geolocation includes information about the device user's location, such as country, region, and city. After you map geolocation, you can create a Map widget so that you can see performance broken down by region.

For example, you can see which country had the highest revenue in car sales.

          • Map Geolocation Dimensions
If your data stream contains geolocation information, you can use the different geolocation dimensions when mapping.
          • View Location Data in Your Workspace
To determine which location data is available in Marketing Cloud Intelligence, go to the Dimensions List.
          • Use Map Widgets
After you map geolocation dimensions, use the Map widget to view your geolocation data live. Map widgets are created and defined just like all other widgets.
