Processing Historical Data for Reach Data Streams

Processing Historical Data for Reach Data Streams

When manually processing data streams, Marketing Cloud Intelligence doesn’t consider the sliding window. Data needs to be processed in one month increments to ensure integrity of reach data is not compromised. You have to be conscious of how your regular retrieval is set up - to ensure that the newly loaded historical data and what you will regularly receive in the data stream are even comparable.

          When processing historical data:

          • Consider the sliding window date range, and select the entire date range for each date you process. For example, if you want to process reach data for April 2, 2022, and you have a sliding window of 31 days, select 31 days before April 2, 2022:03/02/2022 to 04/02/2022.
          • To get a reach value for each individual date, manually set the sliding window for each day. For example, process reach for April 1, 2022, select the date ranges from March 1, 2022, to April 1, 2022 (31 days).
