          Sprout Social API Connector

          With the Sprout connector you can pull analytics of owned social profiles you’ve integrated with Sprout. Profile-level data is shown in PST and Post-level data is shown according to the social channels own timezone. Sprout Social is a social channel connector and the data stream type is social objects and Lifetime.

          Required Editions

          To create an API data stream: Admin

          To create a Sprout Social API data stream, you need:

          • Provisioned Sprout account for API use.
          • Access token— found in the sprout account settings dialog.
          1. On the Connect & Mix tab, expand Data Streams.
          2. Click Add New.
          3. Select Sprout Social.
          4. To add a new data source authentication, click Add New and enter your API key.
          5. Set the duration for the initial data fetch.
          6. To change the mapping, click Mapping. You can also access mapping by clicking Map to Model at the bottom of the Create New Stream page.
          7. To define advanced settings for the data stream, at the bottom of the Create New Stream page, click Advanced Settings.
          8. Click Create.
          9. Quality check your data.

            Create a report in Sprout Social for the selected date range.

            Process the relevant data stream in Marketing Cloud Intelligence filtered to the same date range.

            Create an identical report or pivot table in Marketing Cloud Intelligence with the same date range, dimensions, and measurements.

            Compare and make sure that the measurement totals are aligned.
