Marketing Cloud Intelligence Security
Marketing Cloud Intelligence uses a variety of industry-standard and state-of-the-art security technologies and procedures to help protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. All users must have a registered MFA method in order to access the Marketing Cloud Intelligence platform directly. You can decide on which methods best suit your needs. Session timeout is another form of security and determines the amount of inactive time after which a user is logged out of the platform. The session timeout period can be set in the account settings. For security purposes there is a forced timeout after five days regardless of inactivity. Keeping up with the evolving security landscape is an ongoing, joint partnership between Marketing Cloud Intelligence and our customers. As security threats grow more common, it’s important to implement stronger measures to protect your business and customers.

- Multi-Factor Authentication in Marketing Cloud Intelligence
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) requires users to enter two or more pieces of evidence, or factors, to prove identification. One factor is something the user knows, such as a username and password combination. Other factors are verification methods that the user has in possession, such as an authenticator app or security key. All users must have a registered MFA method in order to access the Marketing Cloud Intelligence platform directly. - Single Sign-On (SSO) in Marketing Cloud Intelligence
If you’re the administrator of a Marketing Cloud Intelligence account, you can grant team members access by signing into a central identity provider. SSO) makes access easier and more secure for everyone. You can put the identity provider that you already trust in charge of authentication, while team members can access Marketing Cloud Intelligence without another password to manage. - What Are Cookies?
Cookies temporarily store a small amount of information in a user’s browser. For example, logging in to a website, preferences for particular content, capping how often a user sees ads, or tracking what a user does online. Cookies are set at the user level, allowing every user to customize their own cookie settings.
