Manage User Groups in Marketing Cloud Intelligence

Manage User Groups in Marketing Cloud Intelligence

You can create a user group to apply a set of content permissions and workspace user filters to users who need access to specific accounts or workspaces. A user role determines what a user can and can’t do, while a user group determines where the user can apply these permissions. You can assign a user to more than one user group.

For example, you can create a user group for all users in the EMEA location and one for the marketing team. And because a user can be assigned to multiple user groups, a marketeer in EMEA can be in both the EMEA and marketing team user groups. This user receives all the content permissions and workspace user filters available in either group, even if one group has fewer permissions.

You can create or or assign user groups when creating or editing a user.
